Getting Started with NSX Hybrid Cloud Extension

NSX Hybrid Cloud Extension (HCX) provides application mobility and infrastructure hybridity across vSphere versions, both on-premises and in the cloud. HCX abstracts on-premises and cloud resources and presents them to apps as a single, continuous hybrid cloud, helping simplify cloud onboarding and eliminating the need to retrofit source infrastructure. By delivering secure and seamless app mobility, HCX supports disaster recovery across on-premises vSphere platforms version 5.0+ and in VMware clouds.

In this workshop, we'll take a deep dive into the core functionality of HCX:

Extending on-premises data centers to the cloud
Modernizing IT infrastructure and lowering TCO
Enabling multi-cloud app mobility across vSphere versions 5.0+
Supporting disaster recovery to the cloud and from cloud to cloud
